Today is the birth anniversary of Rajinder Krishan,the poet lyricist and screenwriter . In a career spanning almost four decades, he penned some memorable melodies for Hindi Cinema. Notable among the films he wrote lyrics for are Aaj ki Raat, Amar Kahani , Badi Behan , Albela, Aaram , Ladki, Anarkali, Nagin, aazad, Bhai Bhai, Dekh Kabira Roya, Adalalt, Patang, Love in Simla, Rakhi, Bluff Master ,Bharosa, Pooja ke Phool, Sharaabi,Khandaan, Jahaan Ara, Brahmchari, Reshma aur Shera, Ponga Pandit,Jwar Bhata, Khel Mohabbat Ka etc. etc. He also wrote dialogues for some of the films.
