Today is the birth anniversary of Meghnad Saha, FRS, the great Astrophysicist . He is credited with the development of Saha equation that is used to describe the physical and chemical condition of stars.
He also invented an instrument to measure the weight and pressure of solar rays.
He also presided over the Indian Science Congress in 1921.
