Today is the death anniversary of Khudiram Bose, one of the youngest revolutionaries of the Indian Independence movement.The fire of revolutionary ideas was kindled in him listening to the speeches of Aurobindo Ghosh and Sister Nivedita. Joining revolutionary activities at the age of sixteen, he participated in some bomb attacks.Eventually caught and standing trial, he was sentenced to death by hanging.
He kissed the noose this day in 1908, aged 18 years, 8 months and 8 days only, becoming an inspiration of other future young revolutionaries.
