Today is the death anniversary of K. Asif, the Bollywood film producer, director and screenwriter. Best known as the producer, director and screenwriter of Mughal-e- Azam , the all time great of Indian Cinema.As director his first movie was Phool , a successful venture. He had also directed Sanjeev Kumar starrer Love & God, which remained incomplete due to K. Asif's untimely death in 1971.However the movie was released as he had left it.He also produced a movie called Hulchul, in 1951.
The movie bagged three Filmfare awards in a row.
His illustrious career was nipped due to his death at a relatively young age.
