Madame Cama

Today is the death anniversary of Madame Bhikaji Rustom Cama, a Parsi Indian lady who was a prominent figure in the Indian Independence Movement. A patriot and a nationalist to the core , she started with social service at Bombay and later actively participated in the freedom movement from London and Paris. She among other things is credited with unfurling the Indian National Flag as early as 1907 during a conference at Stuttgart, Germany.
Our humble tributes to this wonderful daughter of India !
