One of the finest actors who with the passage of time was relegated to oblivion was Brij Mohan Vyas aka B.M.Vyas.Born on 22 October, 1920 at Churu,Rajasthan,he was the younger brother of Bharat Vyas, the well known lyricist.
Also a screenwriter, he acted in or was associated with many hit films and block busters of the time like Barsaat, Akbar, Awaara, Aladin & the Wonderful Lamp, Baiju Bawra, Rani Roopmati, Janam Janam Ke Phere , Do Aankhen Barah Haath, Sampooran Ramayan,Samrat Chandragupt, Kahin Din Kahin Raat, Saranga, Yeh Raat Phir Na Ayegi and many many others.
His most memorable role was that of Raavan that he played in Sampooran Ramayan, the ten faces of Raavan showing different expressions or mudras.
He is equally remembered for the role of barber in Do Aankhen Barah Haath,who makes a failed attempt to kill the Jailor (played by V.Shantaram).
Blessed with a long life he died on 11th March, 2013, aged 92.
