Today is the birth anniversary of Dr. Maria Tecla Artemisia Montessori, the Italian physician and educator who devised the Montesssori method of education in different stages for children between the age of 2.5 and 12. The Montessori method is universally accepted and is practiced in most of the Public and Private Schools.
